Last card for the year.

Since I'll be moving to Orlando, I've officially packed up all my craft supplies and will be taking a hiatus from card making =( Hopefully not for too long.

This is the last card for this year and until I set up my workshop once again!

New technique for a Happy Birthday card

After being glued to HSN for 24-hour craft event, I noticed more and more the "distressed look". I hadn't tried it until this card.

I distressed the beige sheet where the Happy Birthday is on, as well as the inside main greeting sheet with brown ink and I love the way it turned out. I also weaved ribbon for the top outline. I love trying new things so if you have any ideas, please send them my way =)

To a soda lover...

From an auntie to her niece, a lover of soda, on her birthday. Her aunt wrote the poem especially for her birthday card. And it turned out like this:

This was just one of those cards that looks so much better in person than in in pictures. It took me so many different attempts and locations to get the full color of the pictures because of lighting, and even then I don't think it captured it, but it really was precious =)

Happy 3 Year Anniversary!

This card was created for a co-worker of mine that was celebrating his 3 year anniversary with his girlfriend whom he nicknamed Fofa (I just thought I should explain the interesting four-letter word at the front of the card) =)

I love making cards, but these are not my favorite only because of the occasion. Nevertheless, I always try to make them special. My heart and prayers go out to those that have lost a loved one.
