I wanted to make an anniversary/initials frame piece for my husband and I, and came up with something I really liked.
I went to Michael's to get the letters, burlap, twine, glue gun, wooden heart and paint, and found the background wood piece for 15 cents in the clearance section of Old Time Pottery. I made the ampersand from gray cardstock on my Cricut machine.

I painted over the original design (all I wanted was the wood) in brown acrylic paint |

All the materials involved |

Laid it out to see how it was going to look |

Almost finished...just need to hang it. (I wrote in our anniversary on the bottom left of the heart) |

All done =) |
